Wanted

Articles for the club newsletter are required. If you have an great idea, special items of equipment that you have made, or other information about beekeeping that may be of interest to members, please contact James Scott (ph 565 0164, fax 565 3789), or send to editor@beehive.org.nz. It doesn't mater how small or big it is, or even whether you have written it out well. It can be edited to an appropriate size or transcribed into word from a conversation if necessary. We want to encourage club members to share their ideas and knowledge with each other.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Don Bell, and the other members of the NBA Executive committee who achieved electoral success at the recent conference in Queenstown. Don Bell was elected President, replacing Richard Hatfield. The Wellington Beekeepers Association wishes him and his committee well in the coming year as they deal with the challenges of varroa (and the continuing battle against AFB), and the various changes that have been started throughout the industry.
